Fantastico!

Hi there folks.
I'm looking forward to exchanging views on subjects related to the Automation Industry.
The exchage of ideas and views can lead to great things as I've discovered in my relatively short time as a Systems Engineer.
To date, I've had exposure to a wide range of technologies rnaging from as antiquated as the old Serck Controls outstations to the Allen Bradley SLC500, Mitsubishi QnA, and Siemens S400 ranges of PLC's.
The thing that's always intrigued me is the way in which the purpose of the kit remains quite similar, but the roles it can fulfill continue to grow.
Imagine the sheer amazement of encountering an PLC that can act as a web server and when you'd been programming in STL for other jobs as mundane as standalone pumping stations.
